Connect - Bi-monthly Australian magazine supporting student participation.

Australian Student Participation Resource and Information Network (ASPRIN) - a loose alliance of Australian organisations and individuals that provide support to primary and secondary students' active participation in school governance and curriculum.

Safe Schools Coalition Australia - Supporting gender and sexual diversity in schools.

YouthLaw - Youthlaw is the first specialist young people's community legal centre in Victoria. We provide free and confidential legal advice to young people up to the age of 25.

Parents Victoria - the statewide democratic organisation representing parents of students in Victorian government schools.

Victorian Parents Council Inc - Information and representation for parents from non-government schools.

VICCSO - VICCSO provides advice and support to State School Councils across Victoria. It is an independent, democratic organisation of over 500 School Councils working towards achieving the best possible education for all in Victorian Government schools

Australian Education Union, Victorian Branch - The body representing Victorian teachers striving for a high quality and accessible education system.

Bullying. No Way! - Created by education communities from across Australia to tackle bullying. Includes resources for students, parents and teachers, as well as forums, a chill out space and places to contribute your own ideas

Student Youth Network (SYN FM) - Student/Youth media organisation that operates a full-time Melbourne community radio station (90.7 FM) and 5 hours of live television per week (on Channel 31).

SPRESS - A newspaper about students issues run by students for students.

ruMaD?: Are You Making a Difference? - school-based program to support students to undertake projects and approaches that make a difference in their schools and communities.

Civics and Citizenship Education - Sponsored by the Federal Department for Education and Training this website contains resources, and information, for teachers, students and parents involved in civics and citizenship education.

Youth Central - youthcentral is the Victorian Government's web-based initiative for young people aged 12-25, filled to overflowing with great information and articles

Australian Youth Research Centre - Conducts research into issues affecting young people, including youth participation. Based at The University of Melbourne.

Australian Clearinghouse for Youth Studies - Australian clearinghouse of information and resources about everything 'youth'. It was a valuable starting point for everything, but is no longer funded and operating, though some resources remain on-line!

Student Voice UK - was English Secondary Students Association (ESSA) - peak and coordinating organisation of secondary students in England.

OBESSU - The Organising Bureau of European Secondary Student Unions - the coordinating body between secondary student organisations across Europe.

SoundOut - US-based organisation promoting authentic student voice and engagement.

Kids Teaching Kids - Environmental program supported by FireStarter: gives students the opportunity to present a workshop to others during Kids Teaching Kids Week or at one of the Kids Conferences; students see that they can have a positive impact on the world, starting in their own communities.

Student Action Teams – education approach in which a group of students work on a real, identified issue of community interest. The students carry out research on the topic and develop solutions – either proposals for others or action they then take.
