Scholarships are open (as of 9am Monday 16 April 2018) 
Scholarhip applications close: EXTENDED TO 9AM, MONDAY 7TH May
Scholarship recipients will be notified by Wednesday 9 May
VicSRC is thrilled provide up to 30 rural/regional and metro student scholarships to help young people from disadvantaged, CALD, refugee, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, disability or rural/regional backgrounds to participate in Congress 2018

Questions you'll need to answer to complete your application: 

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and why you’re applying for a scholarship? (100 words)

What do you hope to get out of attending Congress? (100 words)

What is one issue in education that you are really passionate about? (100 words)

Other info you'll need to complete your application: 

  • Personal details 

  • Bank account details (these can be provided at a later date)

  • The category you are applying within for your scholarship

    • Student with a learning disability

    • Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander

    • Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background

    • Lower socio-economic situation and unable to cover the costs of Congress

    • Rural or regional student

  • Teacher or mentor details who will be endorsing your application

*Please note that in 2018, schools are eligible to send 3 delegates to Congress. Students awarded scholarships will count towards a schools 3 allocated places.
