Job Opportunity: VicSRC Communications Officer

  • 3 days per week, Fixed-term contract until 31 August 2018, with the potential to be extended subject to funding.

  • Melbourne CBD office

  • $63,232 - $67,184 pro-rata classified under the SCHADS Award at Employment Level 4 (YACVic pays above award rates)

We are looking for someone who is creative, motivated and willing to play an active part in a collaborative and close-knit team. Our approach to communications is all about telling our story and putting students front and centre to transform the way people think about, and do, education. You will coordinate VicSRC’s communications cycle, using the power of story as a tool for advocacy and creative content production to build impactful engagement with students, teachers and education stakeholders in Victoria.

Although this is a short term contract, the VicSRC is looking for applicants interested in longer term involvement with our organisation as there may be possibilities for extension.
