Student Voice Workshops: FAQs
All the info you need to join the roar of student voices!
VicSRC Student Voice Workshops (formerly Regional Conferences) enable students, teachers and principals to work together on common issues and drive positive change in schools, communities and the education system.
The events take place in 10 locations all over Victoria in Terms 1 and 2 & again at another 10 locations in Terms 3 & 4. Check out the available workshop dates and locations.

SECONDARY WORKSHOPS (FULL DAY)
VicSRC Members (students and teachers): $45pp
Non-Members (students and teachers): $60pp
VicSRC Membership: $100+gst per year
*Ticket prices include morning tea, lunch, all resources and two facilitators.
PRIMARY WORKSHOPS (HALF DAY)
VicSRC Members (students and teachers): $30pp
Non-Members (students and teachers): $45pp

Once you’ve booked your tickets, it comes straight through to VicSRC. There’s no need to print your tickets – save paper, we have got you covered!
Both! This is a unique space to collaborate, co-create and craft action plans for positive change. We become stronger when we work together, and it takes the participation of all educational leaders – students, teachers and principals – to make truly empowering schools.
60 tickets are available for each workshop.
For term 4 workshops, your school can book 10 places (inlcudes student and teacher bookings). There will be an option to put more attendees on the waiting list when you register. We recommend a minimum of one and a maximum of two teachers per school.
Did you know that you can receive discounted ticket prices to events if you have a VicSRC Membership (Annual School Membership)?
Teachers, if your school is not a VicSRC Member (or you need to renew your current membership), simply follow the prompts to add a Membership to your booking, and then select the discounted Member price for your students.
VicSRC Memberships are valid for 12 months and cost $100+gst. The cost of the membership is included on your invoice.
You are welcome to make payment via Invoice, Cheque, Credit Card or Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
EFT Payments: BSB: 083-347 | Account: 525 584 897 | Reference: Your Event Registration Reference Number.
Cheque: Please make it out to 'Youth Affairs Council of Victoria Inc.'
Invoice: You can generate an invoice when you complete your group's Registration Record. Click 'Tax Receipt / Invoice' to create your invoice, which you can pass on to your finance officer or school bursar for payment.
Credit card: Simply enter your credit card details and make the payment. Click 'Tax Receipt / Invoice' to generate your tax receipt.
As soon as a booking is submitted online it is confirmed. You are able to generate an invoice after registering all your attendees.
PAYMENTS must be received prior to the event. Prompt payment is requested (30 days from invoice date or first day of the event, whichever is sooner.)
CANCELLATIONS will be permitted up to seven days prior to the event. If you cancel or make changes within seven days, full payment is still expected.
CHANGES to the number of students attending the event will be permitted up to seven days prior to the event, but not after this time.
