Tickets

Once you’ve booked your tickets, it comes straight through to VicSRC. There’s no need to print your tickets – save paper, we have got you covered!

Is this event for students, teachers or both?

Both! This is a unique space to collaborate, co-create and craft action plans for positive change. We become stronger when we work together, and it takes the participation of all educational leaders – students, teachers and principals – to make truly empowering schools.

How many people can attend?

70 tickets are available for each workshop.

The ideal numbers is a maximum of eight students per school, to allow for a diverse range of voices and perspectives. We recommend a minimum of one and a maximum of two teachers per school.

There may be times where schools will be placed on a waiting list when conference venue capacity has been reached.

Pre-workshop tasks

The Victorian Government recognises that student voice is a key component to their position as the Education State and the FISO initiatives encourage schools to create further opportunities and give more importance to student voice.

So what is your FISO initiative? As a pre-workshop task, government schools should come knowing the FISO initiative their school is focusing on and some idea of why they are focusing on that area.

Get together with your team and make a time to speak with the Principal about your school’s FISO initiative. This knowledge which will inform part of the workshop, and also include all education leaders – students, teachers and principals – are involved from the get-go.

You can also do some pre-workshop reading to spark your ideas. Here are some useful links to get you thinking about what you want to achieve as a team:

VicSRC Membership discounts
