Congress 2017 scholarships

With the support of Newsboys Foundation and Youth Affairs Council Victoria, VicSRC is thrilled provide up to to 30 rural/regional and metro student scholarships to help young people from disadvantaged, CALD, refugee, Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, disability or rural/regional backgrounds to participate in Congress 2017. 

Apply online from Friday 7 April - 9am, Monday 8th May


Scholarship categories

1.    Rural scholarships (10 available; valued at $450)

Includes 1x free ticket to Congress (valued at $200) and $250 cash grant sent to cover food, accommodation and travel associated with attending Congress. 

2.    Metro scholarships (20 available; valued at $250)

Includes 1x free ticket to Congress (valued at $200) and $50.00 cash grant sent to cover food, accommodation and travel associated with attending Congress. 

Each scholarship includes the costs of attending Congress: accommodation, meals, delegate pack, showbag, t-shirt and conference resources.

Grants: Should you be successful in your scholarship application, VicSRC will transfer your grant to your nominated bank account prior to Congress 2017. You will be prompted for these details during your application.
